Thank you for visiting our website. This is Yoko from iTWS japan. It’s been a while since I posted a blog last time, because we redesigned our website last year. We operate the travel portal site and Japanese corporate site besides this website. I’d be happy if you could check them out.
The number of tourists from overseas has increased since the government eased the travel restrictions. We could welcome guests this spring. Today, I would like to introduce Hakone tour with my clients.
Hakone is located in Kanagawa prefecture, and takes about a few hours from central Tokyo. It is one of the most famous sightseeing places in Japan. There ate many resort hotels and Japanese inn. The guests stayed at the Fujiya Hotel which is known for exclusive and classic. As I’ve stayed there with my mother, it brought back memories.
The guests are mother and daughter from India. They are so nice and we had a great time together. Starting from the hotel, we took some vehicles such as Hakone Tozan Train, Cable Car, and Ropeway. Then, we arrived at Owakudani where you can see the real volcanic activity.
It was kind of windy, but very beautiful day, so we could see Mt. Fuji from there. We went for a walk while enjoying the landscape. Of course, we had a black boiled egg! It is said if you eat one black egg which is boiled in hot spring water, you can live seven years longer.
Then, we left for Lake Ashi and enjoyed sightseeing cruise. Arriving at the port, we visited Hakone-jinja Shrine which was the last spot of the tour. Hakone-jinja Shrine is well known for a spiritual spot. It is very popular. Once upon a time, there was a bad dragon in Lake Ashi, but the deity of the shrine soothed it.
It was a half day tour. Time flies when you are having fun. As I told you, we enjoyed a lot. I asked them to fill out a questionnaire at the end of the tour. That made me happy again!
