Thank you for visiting our website. This is Yoko from iTWS japan.

I went to “Haniwa Exhibition” at Tokyo National Museum in Ueno the other day. By the way, do you know “Haniwa”? “Haniwa” is the remarkable tomb sculptures of ancient Japan. It has been said these were created from 3 century to 6 century. You could see various of sculptures, such as people, animals, tools and weapons there. And I will show you some of them.

This Haniwa boat is an ancient sculpture, but very beautiful!

Haniwa Mascot is so adorable, isn’t it?

You can enjoy this exhibition until December 8th, 2024 at Tokyo National Museum in Ueno. However, Haniwa have been excavated all over Japan. You will check out those places when you visit Japan, if you like.

Thank you for reading. Have a nice week!
